Kids Run
Kids 6 and under will want to take part in this exciting event. The 1/4 Mile Kids Fun Run begins prior to the Movin’ for Community Outreach 5k, but features all the same excitement. They will not receive t-shirts, but shirts will be available for purchase. The Kids Fun Run is free, but kids must register. Packet Pickup All 5K participants must pick up their packet, including race number and T-shirt at Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church either on Friday April 5 from 5:00pm - 7:30pm or Saturday April 6 from 8:30am - 9:45am.Time Limit
To be fair to volunteers and town residents, there will be a 1 hour 15 minute cutoff time for all runners and walkers.
Restrictions
Due to insurance restrictions, no bicycles, skateboards, roller skates/blades or animals will be allowed on the course. Results East Carolina Road Racing will manage our timing and scoring. Results will be posted at www.ecrr.us. 5k Awards
* Top 3 Overall (Male / Female)
* Top 3 Overall (Town Employee, Firefighter, or Police Officer)
* Top 3 in Age Group (Male / Female): <9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Event Day Parking
Free Parking is available in the parking lot located near the corner of St. Andrews Street and East Granville Street. Parking is also available on streets throughout the area. |
